Dr. Astride Jules
Dr Astride Jules is a Haiti-trained paediatrician at the State University Hospital and a US-trained family medicine physician with a keen interest in public health. She obtained her Master of Public Health degree at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 2009 through the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship.
After obtaining her MPH, she pursued a post-graduate fellowship at Vanderbilt to continue her research work on the complications of HIV and influenza infection in children under 5 years old. Following her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical centre in 2019, she joined the Veterans Health Administration in Baltimore Maryland as an attending physician implementing women’s health care.
