Dr. Astride Jules

About Me:

More

As a passionate human rights advocate, Dr Jules strongly believes in a golden opportunity for Haitians in the diaspora to join those living in Haiti to promote sustainable development in the motherland. With a group of old friends and colleagues, she co-founded FINACT Foundation and led their first project to support education and training in Sucrerie Henry, Haiti.

Dr Jules is very proud of the first generation of young women and men benefiting full scholarship for training in nursing, agriculture, construction masonry, electricity, carpentry at the vocational schools of the Salesians Brothers in Haiti. She is also deeply involved in collaborative efforts with community leaders in Sucrerie and colleagues from Dartmouth University, New Hampshire to develop a model of a community development plan that can be replicated throughout Haiti.
